The most authentic taste of Scandinavia is called SJÖRAPPORT. Four types of ASC certified salmon, a delicious way of enjoying the properties of the best oily fish, preserved to keep its meat firm and juicy.
Our compromise: offering you a healthy and sustainable nutrition. That is why our salmon comes from suppliers with responsible fishing methods.
 
With the purpose of protecting the future from wild fishing for the future generations, we focused on fish farm products.
 
All the salmon you can find at IKEA has the ASC certification, which guarantees that it has been obtained by responsible breeding, meeting strict social and environmental standards.

SJÖRAPPORT cold smoked salmon

Thanks to the slow cold smoking process, the salmon’s meat gets a smoked flavor and a firm texture, slightly oily that allows it to cut it in very thin slices.

This is the perfect salmon to eat directly cold as an appetizer or a starter. We suggest you serve it with a bit of salad cut in julienne. The dill and lemon LÄCKERGOM sauce will give it the final touch.


SJÖRAPPORT cold cured smoked salmon

First, is cured with salt, sugar, dill and pepper. Then it’s smoked in cold, so that it is firmer than the cured salmon, but without losing its freshness. Besides, is less greasy than the cold smoked salmon, but with an equally soft smoke.
In Sweden, during the Midsommar festivity, is very common to eat this salmon with crunchy KNÄCKEBRÖD RÅG rye bread slices.

SJÖRAPPORT salmón ahumado curado en frío

Primero se cura en sal, azúcar, eneldo y pimienta. Después se ahúma en frío, por lo que es un poco más firme que el salmón curado, pero sin perder frescor. Además, es menos grasiento que el salmón ahumado en frío, pero con un ahumado igual de suave.

En Suecia, durante la festividad del Midsommar, es muy común tomar este tipo de salmón sobre rebanadas de pan crujiente de centeno KNÄCKEBRÖD RÅG.


SJÖRAPPORT cured salmon

With the curing technique, the salmon is marinated with salt, dill and a bit of pepper. All flavors are mixed and penetrate the soft but firm meat, that can be cut in thin fillets.
The best dressing for this type of salmon is the sweet mustard sauce SÅS SENAP & DILL.
