Smoked salad
Time: 20 minutes | Serves: 4This salad will turn out to be one of your favorites because is fresh, healthy and with delicious flavors. Is apt for celiacs and for lacto-pesca-vegetarians.
To bring you this recipe, we have collaborated with Carlota Villanueva. A perfect starter to complete with salmon, apple, and chickpeas tartlets.
The main ingredients have quality certifications: ASC for the salmon and MSC for the herrings. These certificates are obtained through a responsible breeding and guarantee the compliance with the strict social and environmental standards.
INGREDIENTS
- 45 g. of SJÖRAPPORT smoked salmon
- 25 g, of SILL MATJES herring fillets
- 20 g. of blue cheese
- 15 g. of peeled nuts
- 20 g. of Cherry tomato
- 20 g. of cucumber
- 15 g. of red onion - 5 g. of capers
- 20 g. of mustard and dill sauce SÅS SENAP & DILL
- 5 g. of lemon juice
- 10 ml. of honey or agave syrup
ELABORATION
- On the plate you are going to serve, we curl salmon slices with our hand trying to reach certain height, so it stands out of the rest of ingredients.
- We put around the salmon the herring fillets.
- We cut in half the cherry tomatoes and the cucumber in slices. We put them on a plate.
- We chop the red onion in rings or in fine julienne strips. We put them over the rest of the ingredients.
- We crumble the blue cheese and chop the nuts. We add them to the salad along with capers.
- For the dressing, we emulsify the lemon and mustard sauce with a bit of honey or agave syrup and some drops of lemon juice. We serve the dressing once the wanted texture is achieved.
