HOW TO SHOP ONLINE

Shopping online at IKEA is very easy!

1. Get inspired through our website and pick the items you like the most.

You can find many items under sections of the top menu bar and also in or through the web browser.

2. Create your list by marking the products you want to buy.

Remember that every time you choose or add an item to your shopping cart, it'll be saved on top of the web, in "View Shopping cart" indicating the number of items added.

3. When you have the complete list, click in buy in "place order" and you will be able to choose:

Pick up your purchase at our Stores, Punto Ponce, or Bayamón Warehouse, or have your purchase delivered to your home for a minimal additional cost.

4. Once your order is made, you'll be always informed of every order status

You can check the status of your purchase through  My account > My orders.

Furthermore, you will be notified of every process by sms or email.

1. MAKE YOUR PURCHASE

Once you have chosen all items you want to purchase and clicked "Make Order", we will request a user in order to offer you a more secure purchase.

See point 7 if you want more information about transactions security.

If you are a registered customer enter your information and click "Login", if your forgot your password, click "Forgot your password?" and we will send you a new password to the e-mail address provided by you.

If you are a new customer, enter your email at "Dont´t have an account yet?" and click "Create account".

Now you can fill in the data needed to pay your order and receive it at home.

2. PAYMENT OPTIONS

The payment options you may select are:

CARD payment:

This option lets you close the on-line shopping process, we use Elavon's payment server, so that all transactions are carried out under a secure connection. You can pay your purchases with the credit or debit card you prefer, Visa, MasterCard, ATH.

DIRECT payment or through IKEA Contact Center staff

By phone: In this case the IKEA Contact Centre department will get in contact with you to formalise the purchase and coordinate the delivery as well as to inform you of the status of your order. All transactions are carried out under a secure connection that guarantees confidentiality of all your data.

3. DELIVERY

The delivery of your purchase will be carried out in approximately 48 hours.
 

Remember, these conditions are valid for all Towns in Puerto Rico.

4. AVAILABLE COMMITMENT

Even though we make our best effort to provide correct information in this Web, we apologize if during the year we change any item from stock. Also it is good to know that some items may vary in color or size.

5. EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY

You have 90 days to change your mind! Because it’s our compromise to provide the highest quality and best service to our customers, but still, in case you want to return it, you’ll have to use your own delivery company and hire the delivery. Once it arrives to our facilities, we’ll check the condition of the purchase. Remember that in order to credit the 100% of your purchase, it should be unused and in perfect condition, both the content and packaging. If not, we won’t be able to return the full amount as we’ll have to remove the products from circulation.

Hygiene products such as towels, bedding, blankets, mattresses, protectors, etc, won’t be admissible for return, even if they’re unused.

Remember to check, at the time of the delivery of your purchase, all the goods and their condition. In the event of detecting that there’s some item missing or damaged, you’ll have to notify it at that time and fill out the claim form provided by the delivery company at that moment. Take into account that once the delivery document is signed, where you accept having received all the goods correctly, you won’t be able to claim that there’s some item missing or damaged.

If you detect some quality defect once you have picked up your purchase, you’ll have 7 days to communicate it through this form. Don’t forget attaching photos and videos of the defect if necessary.

Remember that, in the event of a return, we cannot return the delivery cost.

Registration, modification, security policy and confidentiality


When you make purchases through our Web or access certain services, you'll need to register your details. At the time you register or place an order, your personal information and your payment option will be added to our database, only being used to process your order, and also send you information about interesting offers and promotions, or to add your data to our recruitment process.
