Features

Key features

We know that children's skin is extra sensitive, but not to worry. This product has been tested and contains no substances, phthalates or chemicals that can harm your child's skin or health.

The duvet cover's pattern is drawn by hand and adorned with stripes on both sides.

Your child sleeps well all night since cotton absorbs and transports moisture away, which helps the body maintain a comfortable and even temperature.

Designer Stina Lanneskog

“I was very inspired by my childhood summers in the Swedish countryside when I created the NATTSLÄNDA collection. The textiles are timeless, cozy and airy in a green and grey color scheme with traditional Scandinavian crafted details like tufted parts, small knitted knots and embroidery. All made of durable materials, so that they can be passed down from child to child. I like the playful look and hope that the textiles will spread a snug, embracing feeling in your home.”

Environment

We want to have a positive impact on the planet. That is why by 2030, we want all materials in our products to be recycled or renewable, and sourced in responsible ways. IKEA has banned the use of chlorine bleaching agents in the production of textiles and paper products due to the negative impact on the environment. IKEA has strict requirements for the use of phthalates in all our products, and we have totally banned them in children’s and food-contact products. The cotton in this product is grown with less water, less chemical fertilizers and less chemical pesticides, while increasing profit margins for the farmers. That way, we lower our environmental impact. Since 1996 IKEA has banned harmful dyes, e.g. azo dyes, in textile and leather production.

A traditional bedroom for those young at heart

This is more than a bedroom; it’s a room where life happens. And yes, that applies to the constantly ongoing and sometimes chaotic life of a family too. The bed is the hub where everybody can check in to have a chat, solve problems or have a rest. Because we all know that the best way to get a really good night’s sleep, is to first have a great day with people you love
