What is recycled polyester?
When we create products from recycled polyester, PET bottles, and other sources, they get a new life in products like textiles, storage boxes, kitchen fronts, and even lamps. When using them, you get to enjoy exactly the same quality and function as with virgin polyester products. And naturally, they’re just as clean and safe in every way. “The goal was to develop a bag collection with a clear IKEA identity. Instead of placing large logos on the bags, I chose to focus on emphasising details like silhouettes and shapes, colorful zippers and striped lining. It was also a given that all the bags should be high quality and have numerous smart features and compartments – and have a low price. I hope that VÄRLDENS bags will be useful and bring joy to your everyday life.”
